				| Thought I would post some of the classics we saw whilst at Le Mans last weekend. If you have been to the 24hr race before you will know its a real leveler when it come to cars, everybody camps, and you see brand new Benltleys and Aston Martins, pitching thier tents next to 10 year old Pugs & 50 year old MGA's Triumphs etc.
 As we arrived at Portsmouth this was the scene; in the distace you see a Routmaster bus.

   Cars on the camp site;

   Porsches old & new

   This BMW 7 Series had to be towed the last few miles, the diff had gone!, anyway they got a replacement diff from a local scrapyard and drove it home!

 If there is interest I'll post some pics from the race

				| I didnt get there this year but did 2006 and 2007 was my 10th time, I love it The atmosphere is so much better than even the F1s and if you can go in a classic even better Maybe we should do a group one next year, I am a member of the ACO which is the motor club that runs it and get good discount on group 4 day tickets If you want a good camp site it has to be booked early and as an ACO member you get to use the concourses

				| The weather did vary, I took this pic about an hour before the end of the race, just after the heavens opened the 007 Aston Martin dives into the pits to put on wet tyres, you dont want to do 23 hours and then spin off!

 Took this photo about 5 mins before the one above, the fuel guy just notices the first spots of rain, notice they were going to put slicks on, that said Le Mans is such a large circuit that its quite possible to have both wet & dry track!
