Hi
If you didn't see it on BBC 4 tonight, then go to BBCiPlayer and watch it.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/page/item/b00c7ytb.shtml?filter=txdate%3A22-06&filter=txslot%3Aevening&start=1&scope=iplayerlast7days&version_pid=b00c7ysf

One and a half hours long but a lot of just post war cars from about 30 mins in.

Incidently taking of post war cars on the screen, I hear the premiere of Stone of Destiny was last night, so we can all see 47p2's Rover on a screen near us shortly.

Yes there was some good stuff in the B movies. Tonight also had BBC 4 with "The Secret Life of the Motorway". Again lots of nice 50s and 60s traffic scenes. It's repeated at 1-45am for the night owls.

"Documentary looking at the building of the first Motorway in Britain, the M6 Preston by-pass, and the complex Spaghetti Junction.

Featuring archive and public information films, as well as interviews with the engineers, the builders and the people who drove on them."

Oh, and it's on iPlayer too.

I've been loving the old British B movies season - god, but they're bad, but I can't get enough of them! Cool

I knew Harry H. Corbett came from a theatre background and last nights film was the first thing I've ever seen him in without his "Steptoe'esq" character being performed - superb.
