Bill dropped me a line and sent a photo of his cracking '39 truck, and he was happy for it to be shown here. What a cracker!!! the '39s have a different grille to the '40-'47 trucks and look great I reckon
Bill adds:
"It was a former fire truck for a state park and as such, saw little service. My dad bought it maybe twenty years ago, with 7000 miles on the clock and totally frame off restored it himself to national standards. He got too old to care for it and I didn't want it to go out of the family so, dad being dad, he sold it to me. Here's a picture."
