| I had an '89 MkII Golf like yours for about four years, cracking car that was. I replaced it with a Passat VR6 estate also a lovely thing in Silver, black leather interior and absolutely pristine condition...wish I'd kept that one now! |

i have a passat 2.0 which although a good car isnt quite a VR6
if i was to buy a VR6 would have to be a Corrado

I have a Passat estate currently too, but the VR6 one was such a rarity and with impeccable history that I couldn't resist!  |

understand completley mind trying to find a windscreen for mine and had scary prices.
