Hi we were wondering if anyone could help us get some more information about a caravan we just bought. It's a regency bremer or something like that but definately a regency. It's 1964 and we were told regency were made in the Wirral(sp) area. I have a picture of the outside but will be getting some more very soon. So if anyone has had one or has one now we would be very grateful for any info.
Thanks in advance
Tiger

Hi Tiger and welcome to the forum.
From Andrew Jenkinson's book on British Caravans from the 1960's (page 4 he says:
At the Earl's court caravan show in 1965 a Birkenhead shopfitting company launched the regency range. It is described as a full glass- reinforced plastic clubman super luxury tourer. Trade reaction dubbed the Regency as a bit of an ugly duckling with its bulbous looks especially on the shorter, 12ft models.
I have about 15 photos of them in my collection. One of which is called a Balmoral - that looks a lot like yours.
Send me a pm with your email and I'll send you copies. _________________ Brian
