I had to pick her up in the end but I dropped the price a couple of grand too as I threatened to walk away and the proprietor panicked Cool
As I am stacked out I took her to a friends barn to keep her safe until i can bring her back to work on I have also started a general strip down to identify the problem areas of the chassis
I have been extremely busy of late with an important case and havent had the time really to spend on any of the vehicles, the next couple of weeks am stacked out with visitors but I will get some photo on soon Embarassed

They are indeed very stylish the HK500
I "only" paid 13k in the end for a car worth probably double that now and 40k+ later
Although for me its not about the money but the passion, a bargain is a bargain and I wouldn't have gone and bought a good one, at least this way i can spend time and money on a passion and not have my wife thinking its gone nowhere
Trouble is now I want to get a facellia to go with her

Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes thats the trouble with passions

Greeney,I was actually referring to my cars costing less than the book Laughing
I have a vivid recollection of a dark red HK500 residing not far from where I lived as a boy of 7-8.The owner had a factory making goodness knows what, but he must have been doing ok.Apart from the Facel,he also had a Mercedes 300SL roadster, and a BMW V8(baroque angel)saloon.
His wife drove an Alfa Giulietta Sprint.Obviously a family who appreciated nice cars Laughing
