let me introduce myself---my name is ray, residing in cardiff--south wales, retired mechanic who feels like an unopened workshop manual waiting to be discovered----40 years in grease and swarfega, attempting to relive the trials and trivulations of years gone by.if i can be of any help to pass on my knowledge to all you petrol heads out there---i`ll try my best to stir the brain cells --if there`s any left !!
Not in ownership of any classics at the moment---but on the lookout for a cresta PA of 62 vintage.fell in love with them whilst working on them over 45 years ago.
the spanners are silent at the moment but they still come out when needed.wife tells me she`s never seen such clean finger nails since she married me ! the good times are about to surface.-cheers from ray the rocker(my nickname cos i`m into 50`s music).

Thanks for the welcome don--plenty of history to waddle through on all aspects on motoring.it`s good to see so many active members keeping the forum busy and no doubt contributing to keeping "berty" or "betty" on the road.I ,being a nosy git, love all the snippets and i`m still sifting through the archives !!
