Hi Guys

My first post to this forum - as a newbie.......!

Can anyone advise me the make of the car in the photo ?
It belonged to a close friends Grandfather (he is at the wheel !)

I have made some guesses but I would appreciate an expert opinion.
Thanks in advance.

Does anyone have any info re the registration number ? Past or
present ?

Can't help with the make, but the reg no was issued in London between March 1936 and February 1937

Hi Julian,

Welcome to the forum.

I'm probably not adding anything to your thoughts. Clearly it's a mid 30s Triumph but I'm not sure which model either.

Peter

The 4 cylinder Gloria Vitesse looks likely...

looks a bit like the Gloria

but that has no bumper, the Continental does though and might be a match (but did they do an open version??)

Thanks for the replys so far.

The radiator cap topper is significant because the car owner (my friends Grandad worked in Aero Engineering. The mascot reflected his career.
