I am buying a 1984 Sprite Musketeer and will be taking it to classic events with my Mazda Premacy. I would like to tow it with the 1300 marina but I am not sure about the maximum weight a 1300 marina will tow.
I am now selling my 1975 Sprite Alpine, bone dry, clean wee van with an awning for £350......................Larry

Maker's tow limit for Ital 1.3 was 15 cwt (I got this info from "Caravanning Monthly December 1980 issue"). I wouldn't expect the Marina to be much different.

Cool Thanks folks.....Oh well that rules out the 1300 marina as the caravan is 845kg.Dont want to pull the guts out of it. Not really to keen on drilling a 37 year old chassis even though it is solid.
Last year I pulled a viking fibreline 2 berth with a 1300 ital and it was no bother but I think the Fibreline was lighter.
Great caravan the fibreline.I would never have parted with it had it been a 4...sheer luxury that van.
