Carpet sets for the mk1 marina are very hard to find because they leaked water and rotted them.
But I have got myself a set from a barn find but they are brown and I need dark blue or black. Is it possible to get a dye for them

You have two possibilities to get the colour you require.

The best option is take your carpets to a professional Carpet Cleaning Company, and get them to dye them for you.

Otherwise, its possible to buy aerosols of what is known as car carpet paint or dye. Note that some dyes intended for household carpets are not suitable though.

Hi

Other more expensive option, get a trimmer to make you a new set of carpets, see if any other like minded owners want a new set, get a few made, and split the expense! Just an idea. Very Happy

Cheers

There is a place in Wigan that is making me some carpets for the 39 series E and didn't need a template! I'll dig the details out for you.
