Look what I have just been offered, for a bottle of "english whisky" ?
I haven't checked it out yet but understand the engine turns and the truck moves although its been in the garden for 20years
1956 Type 23 Citroen flat bed
Any ideas? worth having a go at saving?

Unless it is a hopeless case, go for it. Just think how useful it could be....but then again I am biased. I love old trucks _________________ 1964 International Harvester |

I say go for it too.
I`d offer a CASE of whiskey if it were closer to me! _________________ "The only thing I`m sure of.....is that I`m not sure of anything!" |

I could send you a bottle of Scottish Gin!
Mind you, I have a bottle of Indian Whisky as well.
Go for it Greeney, if nothing else if it turns out to be a no-hoper the way scrap metal prices are going you'll get far more back than you're giving. |

I wouldn't pass it up, either.
If it's in too bad a state, as a basis for a rod, it would fetch a pretty penny here in England.
I quite like the look of that.
Worth saving if you have somewhere to store it. _________________ Don't run your fingers over my truck & I won't run my truck over your fingers!

Well worth a bottle of Glenmorangie, or better. _________________ Due to the onset of my mid eighties I'm no longer sprightly and rarely seen in my Austin special. I have written a book though. https://amzn.eu/d/7rwRRqL |
