Photos from a fantastic day at the races
Edwardian Sunbeam Tourer
A product of that well known car manufacturer Allard
Tony Seber in the 1936 Wolseley Hornet Special came in first, as per usual
Not everyone got off to a good start, especially this 1928 Frazer Nash Super Sports
Or this Riley Grebe
One of several extremely noisy GN's
Patriotic Austin Seven
Bentley 4 1/2 litre Blower
1938 Alta SS Special
Unbelievably noisy (my ears still ache) ERA
Line up for the Edwardian handicap race
Leon Peugeot Voiurette Racer, which won (despite breaking down)
Vauxhall Viper
Daimler Mercedes Rennwagen (Grand Prix racer)
My favourite, Sunbeam Coupe De L'Auto
Vauxhall A/D Type
Buick Cirrus (well, Buick chassis, the rest is all sorts, including a Cirrus aero engine)
Gorgeous Frazer Nash single seater |
