I've been staring at this photo for the last 30 mins trying to read what the script on the rad says. It was photographed in Germany, in the 30s. I did wonder about Saurer as they had a similar script on the rad and the front wing shape is similar. I think the script begin with S, but I can't find any info on Saurer vans of this era, or find a pic showing the grille and/or the script, or the tiny badge at the top of the rad. Any ideas???

| The first letter on the badge could also be an old style "L".I though it might have read "Loewe",which is german for lion, but I've never heard of such a make.So it's probably not that. |
