I have at last got the site into a bit of order. There are some issues with different browsers but it works fine in Internet Explorer.

That's an excellent site well done!

I like the layout and the photo's are crystal clear, very nice indeed. I have even printed out the old rover factory article for a nice read tonight. Smile

P.S. I used Firefox browser and it ran perfect.

Thanks old-nail, glad you enjoyed it. The firefox issue isn't sorted yet I did a bit of moving the photos around so they wouldn't clash with the text but will need to sort it out.

The Export Trader is an excellent atricle, hope you enjoy it Wink

Another update on the site with complete copy of a 1947 Export Sales Brochure added.
These are apparently as common as hens teeth, so why not have a look 1947 Rover Export Brochure
Also a few more scanned documents on the Rovering page.

More updates with a very rare 1937 Salesman's pocket book on the Rovering page. Scroll down to get all the specifications of these great cars.

I have added some early Rover pictures in the Other P2s page as there is very little reference to them on the net.

Is the Rover 800 Coupe an up and coming classic, I hope so. I have added a page to raise the profile of these cars and hopefully stop them being crushed. Have a look at the Rover 800 here

Parts for sale has a couple of bits and bobs that are available. It will mostly be Rover parts, but one never knows what will be found, so pop in for a look

You can check the adverts out by clicking here and scrolling down the page

More updating been taking place and I now have a 1946 and 1939 Sales Brochure in beside the 1947 Brochure. It makes some interesting reading seeing the changes over a few years.
A 1939 Salesman's Pocket Book is now available for viewing beside the existing 1937 version on this page.
You can catch it all here on the Brochures page.

On the Royce Cole pages I have scanned Royce's original photos of the restoration and they certainly are worth a look click here for page 1 but remember to go to pages 2 and 3.

In the Gallery there are more pictures from The Stone of Destiny movie. How many celebs can you make out on this page

Ever wondered where the chassis number is on a P2 or how the numbering system works.
Why not visit the P2 Spec page page scroll to the bottom and read all about it

Finally if you are a reader of old adverts there are plenty on the Rovering page dating from 1947 to 1907, surely something for you to enjoy there

Glad you enjoyed it Old-Nail.

I am pleased the way it has turned out so far as it's my first attempt at building a website.

Amazing how much work goes into it, if I was getting paid I would be worth a small fortune Wink

Hi
I think that is a great site, I used to have 6cyl dated from about '47 would that have been a 14 or 16?

If you are chatting to any P4 people anytime ask them if they have ever heard about one modified to look like Jet 1 that used to run around the Patchway, Bristol area in the late '60s early '70s.

The roof had been cut off and it had a tonneau cover (possibly in tin) over the N/S and rear passenger seats, it also had a little aero screen instead of a full width one.

I don't remember it being a Cyclops but I'm sure it was one of the earlier, slightly smaller looking ones.
