I'm curious. How did it race with the 750 Motor Club with a 933cc engine installed???
Austin Seven Clubs are very broadminded as far as building reproduction specials go, but I think they would baulk at a special with a 933cc Ford motor in it.

That hadn't registered with me. On top of that the Ford engine is said to be standard spec. In their standard forms the Ford would be more sprightly than the Austin but a little tuning on the 750 engine would put the performance way beyond that of the Ford. _________________ Due to the onset of my mid eighties I'm no longer sprightly and rarely seen in my Austin special. I have written a book though. https://amzn.eu/d/7rwRRqL |

| Coincidentally, when picking up a 'new' rear axle recently (i.e. one that has been lying in a hedge for many years) the owner had two Super 2's in various stages of disrepair. Owned them for 20+ years with the intention of restoring one |
