Geoff dropped me a line the other day, wondering if anyone can lay their hands on some old reference catalogues, to help him id some valves and springs he has in his shed:

"Hi from geoff,

I have a collection of valves, guides and springs for British Bikes,
about 100 of each. But I dont know what a lot of them are for. Most of
the valves are numbered and have a makers id :-tranco,G&S,Alpha,or SC, a
few are original makers.

Do you by any chance have copies of old catalogues that would help me
identify what they are?"

Hi Rick,

I have bike listings of Terry valve springs and James valves and guides (James is the valve manufacturer). Don't know if Geoff has any Terry or James parts.
