Rick will probably know this one as it resides in Cheshire.

Lovely van - and I see its got a new sponsor or owner since I saw it in 2001 at the NEC.
Looks as though the owner has raised the suspension a bit since -

I had already seen it with its previous signwriting.
A really nice and well done custom van. |

I used to drive one when I had a part time job whilst in the 6th form and everytime you set off the doors would slide open! _________________ Keep Torqueing,

That is why the owner of the custom one lowered the front so much _________________ Brian

Hi Guys - There is an item well worth reading at http://www.burnhamautos.com/morris.htm on the restoration and modification of this vehicle. It was actually made for the suspension to be adjustable in height, and it could be lowered if attending a custom show, or if at a classic show it would be raised to near-normal clearance.
The signwriting was also different on both sides, and many people thought that there may have been two similar vehicles until they realised that it depended on which side they viewed it!
Cheers - Bugly |
