This is my recent purchase that I'm now busy restoring. It was bought off e-bay at the end of the summer and prior to me buying it, had been laid up in a garage since 1988. It's done over 90,000 miles and has had, although plenty of repairs, a hard life by the looks of it. It has had no welding done to the underneath, and doesn't require any. It does however, require lots of bodywork.
Here are two photo's and a small video my son took, the day after I bought it. Images are "Clicky"

That looks a very solid original van too, and yes, that's the first thing I noticed when I looked at the photo, was the difference in the rear side window. I can't say I've ever noticed it before on other models though, I'll have to look closer next time. |
