Hi All, Plans for the Autumn / Winter


Sympathetic Restoration / Preservation and try to maintain the character of the car

How does this sound. I am going to do most of the work myself

Sunroof will need to be restore back to how it should be.

Fill (lead) or weld the pot rivet holes

Remove the wing, running boards and find a welder/fabricator to patch the holes

Replace or repair all the body/window seals gaskets

New rooflining

New wiring harness

Possibly New wooden floor

Discrete indicators

That's going to keep you busy - better pray for a long winter! Worth every moment though 'cause vintage Vauxhalls are as rare as hens' teeth!
