I recently collected some Jowett junk er...... I mean parts etc and amongst it was a Smiths time clock which, I am sure is not Jowett. It is black faced with white hands and numerals. On its face it has the part reference (I presume) CE 2160/08. I can find no reference to this anywhere. It is approx 55mm across the bezel. It is electrically driven and illuminated, but is manually adjusted with an adjuster that protrudes downwards from the rear of the diecast case, not projecting from the front as 60's clocks do.
Can anyone identify this clock? Is anyone's project incomplete for the lack of it. Don't really want anything for it if someone is going to use it on a car. but object to it going to an automobilia collector. Oh by the way, haven't checked that it works!!
