I reckon £200 tops, I'll bet the "needs a little work" involves major replacement of damp wooden framework. _________________ Brian

i agree its not worth any more than £200 tops, no doubt the roof will need some work. they always seem to go there first ,
but having said that, small 50s lantern roof vans always seem to sell, all be it in the spring !
i sold a similar van last year, on Ebay and got £550 and that needed a lot of work |

You are to generous sir from the pics looks like the roofs in trouble ......... Usual signs of damp around the front of the mollycroft and in the front corners of the main roof
But lots of folk think they have a pot of gold at the bottom of the garden just 'cause it's getting old. Plenty Stirlings about and plenty that will be cheaper than that and possibly in better nick. Nice to see a complete set of drip rails and down spouts though _________________ Home is where you park it |

i think at the end of the day its worth what someone is willing to pay for it, be it £5 or£500, one of my first reso's was a very rotten blue bird cambrian, that cost me £300 ! and the A frame snapped towing it home! but i was happy with the van cause it was the only van i could find at the time ,this is going back to the time of the H.C.C newsletter, being one of the few sources for old vans , i think Ebay has done alot to expand the market in the last few years and saved some nice old vans from the bonfire |

What a pretty little van, that is need of TLC. As said looks like the roof has got or had some damp problems. £2K is a lot for a van in that condition.
And no Ms Gillberry, I wouldn't want it. Towing makes me poorly,I'm kinda fond of my little tent and what would Akela say if i turned up at a Cub camp with that? _________________ 1953 Humber Hawk
