|

Rick in Canada got in touch the other day, he acquired this kit from a Smith's instrument repair depot in Toronto. Keen for it not to go in a skip, can anyone suggest a good home for this equipment? PM if you can save this stuff.
------------------
Good Day and Happy New Year,
About a year and a half ago I purchased along with my partner what was left
of the North American Smith Instrument repair depot in Toronto Ontario.
After much sorting of the 8.5 tons of items, my partner kept the Smith's
Motorcycle, the automobile instruments were sold to a chap in the US, the
marine items were pretty much given away and the complete cable
manufacturing equipment became mine.
What I have is the complete set of crimping dies, spare manufacturing bits
to assemble the cables, the complete set of Smith manuals for the various
English cars going back into the 30's, hydraulic equipment and lots of bits
and pieces that is used in the manufacturing of the cables.
Because of my limited space and aging, I am wanting to see this inventory go
to a good home where someone would appreciate being able to manufacture
original Smith's cables. My question to you is, do you know of anyone who
would be interested in this long lost inventory? _________________ Rick - Admin
