Hi
A little shunter eh!?
They steam more than proper engines do when they start up, there used to be a similar one for shunting well sided wagons around at the boiler works.
Cheers

Hi
You mean 60163 Tornado, who travelled to London today I believe, so it made it onto the main line, through all of the tests etc. Looks great too!
Great to see them loading an engine onto a wagon, they build rails onto the wagon, and winch it up! hehe
Cheers

The 60163 made its maiden voyage from York to Newcastle last Saturday, followed by York to Durham last Sunday. This morning it had its first general public fare paying passengers, leaving Darlington where it was made, for Kings Cross. Apparently it took a tad longer than expected as it broke down with an electrical problem. |
