OK, so I know these aren't strictly classics, but their roots are firmly in the 60's MGB.
Does anyone have any tips on what to look for when buying an RV8?
Also, anything specific to worry about with a car improrted back to the UK from Japan? I don't know if the spec. differed?
Thanks

Hi
My daughter had a Japanese grey import MR2 and they use a different range of radio frequencies so she had to change that, and it also had a km speedo, so maybe that would need to be changed as well. |

I had a couple of grey imports too a Pajero (shogun) and a couple of Townaces (toyota liteace people carriers)
generally they are easy to register as you have to add a fog light change the speedo to MPH but nothing drastic, insurance will be more expensive although people like Tesco and Adrian flux were OK sometimes parts were difficult as the VIN comes up as imported and the spotty Oik behind the desk at the parts place breaks out into a sweat but this was 6/7 years ago things may have changed a bit. _________________ www.OldFrenchCars.com
