I have recieved a request to find a missing owner of the following vehicle.

If the owner does not come forward the vehicle is going to be left outside in the elements and it would be a shame to let this happen.

So what do I know.....

1960 Rover 100 Registration number WWO 892 Grey over green.

Last known details of Owner as follows.

Was living in Thirsk area North Yorks.
Contacted "********************" (I have left this blank so that no scammers try to go off with the car
Asked for car to be collected and apraised for re-commissioning, as was moving house.
Car to be stored whilst garage was being built at new house.

This car has now been in a barn about 10 miles from York for almost 2 years.

Should the owner be found, then before the car is release, the owner will need to give full details as proof of ownership , as well as providing other proof such as V5, purchase receipts etc.

Time is running out for this car, if anyone can help return her to the owner then please pm me

Is it worth going to the local police station do you think? I have done this before with some success, ask politely if they can contact the registered owner and ask him to contact you.

I know DVLA wouldn't divulge an owner's address, but would they forward a written enquiry to the owner?
