Do any of you helpful chaps know from where I can get sheets of rubber that look like material, they are used to cover body holes where a rod passes through like a gear linkage or something usually quite thin but have a woven material look about them, I will try to get a photo.
Thank you _________________ www.OldFrenchCars.com

Thanks Art I did try Woolies but they only do flat finishes and although it doesn't really look that different from a distance I would like it to be textured _________________ www.OldFrenchCars.com

It looks like as is sometimes used for exhaust mounting webbing - you may find some wide enough at commercial vehicle factors or agricultural merchants? _________________ Rover P2

Industrial belt manufacturers can do that sort of thing. _________________ Due to the onset of my mid eighties I'm no longer sprightly and rarely seen in my Austin special. I have written a book though. https://amzn.eu/d/7rwRRqL |

I will give the companies a go, there is no fabric in the rubber its just the look. Citroens have it everywhere including dirt shield under wings, I have managed to get by as I had lots of bits taken off other cars but now I am running short _________________ www.OldFrenchCars.com
