A couple of weeks ago I went to this parking lot were every sunday (weather permitting) lots of classic cars be it standard or custom meet up for a chat!!

The following are some of the cars which were there. There were more but I already had photos of them so did not take others of them.

This Zodiac belonged to an old chap who lived nearby and also had an aronde but shortly after finishing the resto on this zodiac he sadly passed away but both cars stayed with the family and were taken by his sons. The Zodiac is very nice and the aronde is a very straight car aswel

This midget belongs to a friend and also mini nutter (like me)

I do like that Zodiac, it looks a real gem. I remember when I was a humble sales engineer I changed jobs and went from a Vauxhall Viva HA to a MkIII Ford Zephyr Six. What a change!

You certainly like breathed on Avengers in Malta. They look superb.

Hi Rotary, actually those 3 r the only avengers breathed on I've seen for a long while!!
The most common here are heavily (and also slightly) breathed on mk 1 escorts, most commonly with 16 or 20 pinto with full race cams , webers etc!!

Minis do feature quite a lot in maltese roads too, still a few around though some desperately needing tlc!!

Hey rick wot r u waiting for, go out and buy one, u now u wont regret it!!! Wink

yes u have 3 options, either the normal ones which cost in old money (ie maltese pound) 25, which involve 3 letters and 3 numbers then there are the ones which ou can choose what u want but still with 3 letters and 3 numbers and cost 50 (like the one I have on my green mini BMC 076), then there is the option of choosing what u like even down to putting just 1 letter and u can also mix letters and numbers or just letters o r just numbers, for example there is a new (bmw) cooper s running around with just S on the plate. These i m not sure of how much they cost but the procedure should go something like this , u write to the ADT (equivalent 2 ur DVLA) for a certain plate, this is then published on their website and if no one bids for it u can have it for that sum which i m not sure about though!!
At first it was about Lm 500 but i heard that prices were lowered because there wasnt much interest in them at that price and it might be true cause lately i m seeing many cars sporting such no plates!!
