G'day all , can anyone remember what year model Cortina GT came out with a Smiths Tacho fitted to the left on the steering colum.
I think its a 65

Thanks arossco, that settles a difference of opinion between a mechanic friend and myself (we were both wrong)
We were apprentice mechanics together at Coachcraft Ford Woolongabba in Brisbane and a mate who worked in spare parts bought one new, I am lead to believe he still owns it and his brother stills ownes a Cooper S he bought in 1967. Dont know where they live now Tony and I have lost contact in the last decade or so since their parents passed away.
