Picked from another forum. A mystery car appearing very shortly in a LaCoste "Love Of Pink" advert on TV.

On Youtube:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uKezLuCqKW8&feature=related

Still from the video:

What is it?
It's not a Renault 16, Triumph Estate, Reliant Scimitar. It looks like a Jensen Interceptor but it is not: just a bit too tall.

Badhuis,

Do you mean the main car in the shot? That's an early Mustang ('64/65). Or is it something else you saw?

No. It's the beige? car only visible in the first few seconds of the video, parked on the right hand side of the road. Can't you see the still pic in my first post?

tricky isn't it, nearest thing that came to mind was a Volvo P1800ES but I don't think its one of those either, it looks quite small to me Confused

My first thought was AlfaSud as well, but too low. It's not a Fiat 127 either.too low and too wide.
The rear window is quite large,so would suggest a hatch back.

With skinny rear lights definitely french or italian but could it be a saloon with the colour of the car adding to the illusion that there is more glass than there really is . I was thinking something like peugeot 504 .
