Hi
Riding hte penny along the road today, and a woman who looked suitably "Rough" leant right out of the passenger side window, and shouted abuse at me, ending in "you shouldn't be on the road" in a slightly ruder way!
I replied, neither should you, leaning out of a car. Good job I didn't wobble as she would have been in the wheel!
I mean the penny was on the road before the car was invented, so has about a much right as any other wheeled form of transport in my opinion.
Anyway, just why do some people have these strange views, some say tractors shouldn't be, some say old cars.
Idiots!
Cheers

Some people are just ignorant and so narrow minded, it's like the people that see an old vehicle and will do anything to get in front of it, cut you up when overtaking, pull out in front of you or drive right on your rear bumper. Then give you abuse! |

Same with diggers until the snow is on the roads then they are the best thing since sliced bread . |

Hi
Just been for a cycle on the penny again, went into nantwich, had a nice slow walk around, and then cycled back, had t do a few demonstrations to people, all very nice, a couple a little rowdy, wanting to ride it, no chance! hehe
Then a couple of interested drivers, concentrating on me, not the road, one pulled shaply infront of me, to miss an oncoming car on a narrow bit of road. Second a big fat woman, driving just wouldn't stop, I was riding between cars that are parked on both sides of the road, she continues to squeeze through, good job I can more or less stop whilst up on the bicycle. Quick shake of my head and off I go. Only to find she had driven round the block, to come past me again, thankfully I was pushing it this time, she slowed right down, and stared at me, I stared back and she caried on.
Ah well, need to go over the penny with a bit of care to check it is in fine fettle, ready for the oncoming majour outing.
Cheers

Hi
He he, nice is it, but too dear for a replica!
Saying that an orriginal would be more than that, so maybe it is worth it to someone, wouldn't cost that to make it however! hehe
Cheers
