I bought a tiny 70's 10ft ci Cadet caravan today and it has the old style water foot pump which sucks up water from a tank at the back of the caravan when you pump it. I tried it and it didnt suck anything up!! any ideas anyone? |

They usually have a rubber flap valve in them which may be worn. Try hand priming the pump first to see if it works _________________ ROVER

| As 47p2 says, it's probably just dried out from lack of use. Give it a soak and it should be OK |

Had one on my previous Knowsley, and my local camping shop had a refurb kit with new washers, valves etc.
You can replace it with the Whale electric submersible pump that you drop into the outside water tank. _________________ Brian
