We have recently purchased a 1979 Stirling 14 caravan (we also have a 1958 Stirling) and this has a Fiamma Kasset 670 toilet. I am sure that it was installed when the caravan was new and hence is 30yrs old!

Just wondered whether any one else has come across this toilet. We are having problems pushing the bar in to close the flange, and hence remove the cassette.

I think the mechanism is probably worn, I know that we must not use WD40 (as the previous owner tried this and it ruined the seals!)

Any advise would really be appreciated.
