Just got delivery of a very nice Racasan toilet, pretty rare, more so than the elsan type. Will be ideal for our Car Cruiser and Eccles. its built like a cannister to house atomic waste not the " other sort " LOL
Had to repair a break in the bakelite seat, which our kind postal system caused. But back as new again. Just needs a bit of tlc and it will be mint. Dont think its ever been used in anger. lol

pardon my ignorance, but was this intended to be used "as is"? personally; i'd carry a like-sized bin of sawdust to add to the "contents" until such time as they were properly dealt with, if only to lessen the noise if not the smell, even with a tight fitting closure.

BTW; it's kind of odd how the cycle of "invention" goes around... here in the US they sell a seat that is intended to fit the top of the popular 5gal plastic bucket... almost exactly as that design functions. nothing new uinder the sun!

hi Rebel

You put some liquid chemical into the bucket to kill off the germs and smell, apart from that it was "caveat emptor" Wink
