Is anyone else having problems with the forum? Sometimes it takes very long to load a page (usually about 1 in 3 times I try), and sometimes it doesn't work at all

If you're on Broadband, it shouldn't be a problem, Rob.
Maybe it's just the server being busy.

One option is to download Google Chrome. It's an alternative to Windows Explorer & very quick at opening pages.

Same here,
I thought it was only my "vintage" computer or maybe the fact I am still on dial up but it has sometimes been slow recently. I gave up a couple of times and went elswhere for an hour or so and came back later when it was fine. I don't think it's anything for the boffins to be too worried about, just one of those things computers do.
