Hi

It says the roof felt will need replacing at some point, do they really have felt on the roof?

Does seem cheap, they were going for about £3000 a year or two ago. Buy it, and then when you turn up outside the house with it, you will find space for it, you could also live in it, which could happen if it turned up here!

hehe

They make a good support vehicle for a traction engine, the fire brigade came out a couple of times over the weekend in llandudno for water issues! Also a fire engine on one of the runs was sounding it's blues and toos, I thought that has to be illegal, but is it, as it is on a private toll road?

Cheers

Dave

Technically on a private road you can do most things including running ex-emergency vehicles warning horns & lights.

However, the two-tone horns could be considered noise polution if they were used too much and neighbours could complain to Environmental Health either under the Noise Polution or Anti-Social Behaviour Acts.

Hm, I'm guessing they mean the headlining? Confused Anyway I'd love to have one someday, suppose I could park it in the road although it might annoy my neighbours a bit! I think they're MoT exempt though, so that's a major plus point! Very Happy

Cheers

pretty sure it is due to age and weight (Dodge is the same), plus being a fire appliance also qualifies iirc (so long as the firefighting gear is still in working order I think)
