Hi all

I need to find 2 new top-mounted 6v senders to fit on the Dodge's tanks. They are a five hole fixing - do all five-hole senders have the same fitting dimensions?

ta, Rick

Rick, never heard of a 6v fuel sender, but I understand what you're after. Smile
They are usually based on their ohms.
Check your service manual for readings.
Stewart Warner Company provides the universal type senders that you will need.

A lot of the large tanks back then used the same fuel senders, GMC, Ford, International, etc.
Original senders may still be available.

Sorted now (I think). A look at the local '40 Chevy showed that it had the same fitting, and so too do the WW2 Jeeps so I paid a visit this pm to Jeeparts, and picked up a couple that, with a slight modification, should do the job Smile
