Heard about this, might be of interest to some of the caravanners around here Smile

--------------------------------

Good Afternoon

Kelling Heath Holiday Park in in the beautiful North Norfolk countryside is holding a 'retro' caravan & car rally weekend to celebrate our 25 year anniversary on the 12 - 15 June 2009 and was wondering if you as an organization would like to attend - we are also holding a 'retro' fete that weekend. As with most rallys you could attend one of all of the dates and hope you would be interested in joining us. Please have a look at our web-site to see what our park may have to offer your members.

Especially interested in older caravans and trailers - any information regarding a club who may be inerested in this weekend would be much appreciated

The Tariff for this weekend is a special £10 per pitch per night. There are extra charges for awnings, dogs, pup tents etc please contact reception or myself for any questions you may have, or alternatively visit our website.

I really do hope you can attend this exciting weekend special.

Sarah

Just rung up to book and as we will have 3 dogs we can't go because they only allow 2 dogs per pitch and we're not leaving 1 behind, how do you tell one of them that she can not go to the sea side with the rest of the family . Crying or Very sad

They're the ones! The last show camped at was the Sellinge Steam Fair, some years ago. A fellow brought two of them down in his Austin Ruby, from Essex. He set them loose to make their own toilet arrangements, which they did, outside our caravan. My little grandson fell in it and trod it all over the carpet.
The mess was scooped up and returned to the dogs owner by carefully and artistically speading it over his camping area.

With the greatest respect, you can have too many doggies Wink Laughing

In the same way you can have too many kids , its all about how you control them , which is why people who display a lack of control (kids or dogs) let the side down .

Oh gawd! What's a JRT? I'm really getting out of my depth here.
But must agree, well trained and controlled dogs are a joy and always welcome on my patch. Smile

No mention of Poo, but we have booked in for the Friday & Saturday night with two dogs (third one on hold for a while) but we will not be with the retro lot as we have dogs so will have to say on another part of the site Crying or Very sad - but when booking it was pointed out that you have to be off site by 10am? did not think at the time but it if you wanted to stay for the Sunday as well that would mean having to pay for another night?
