im going on holiday soon so thought it would be best to give my mg midget a right good service. so far the ignition and filters have been replaced, now i have to do the oil. for the engine and gear box classic 20W50 is recommended, which is ok as i have loads of it kicking around. for the rear differential they recommend Hypoy B90/ SAE90 differential oil. the only thing i have found that is close to this is halfords/castrol differential 80W90? would this be ok? thanks! |

That will do but I would prefer to use a 90 Hypoid which has more body to allow for wear - Comma do one as does Millers and Castrol Classic _________________ Rover P2

Castrol and Millers do mail order, as do Holdens but in England motor factors, local and national eg Unipart do oils _________________ Rover P2
