A mate told me of a product called ANKOR wax. Has anybody tried it ? The reason I am interested is I have a vehicle that doesnt have a lot of rust in the paint work and is original. So I am thinking of restoring the running gear and interior but leaving the paint work as is. Heres one bit i did find about ANKOR wax. "MO"

Well I bit the bullet and ordered some of this , Im pleased with the result too. Its not a polish but a protective wax. Ideal for maintaining further deterioration in old paintwork. will post some pics If i get chance "MO"

aye it'd be interesting to hear about this, as some of my old wrecks would probably benefit from a preservative-type wax. Probably a little more user-friendly than an oily rag Smile

Me too. The front suspension and steering arms of my car I can't powder coat (if I do I can't spot stress cracks) so this might be an answer to avoid rust build up.

On the VW scene, a lot of people use this on their rat look vehicles.

The cars/vans are rusty as anything but the wax helps protect the car from deteriorating.
