Hi

It has been raining extremeley hard for over 2 hours now, with no signs of stopping!

The front garden is totally flooded!

Why does it need to rain so much!

Cheers

Dave

Even though I would be working in my garage, I get soaked going to and from the house. So I don't bother when it's raining. I had thought about knocking a doorway from the hall, directly into the garage..........but I'm too old and when I think of the cost of materials, all the mess and redecorating the hall Shocked Nah! I will wait for it to stop raining Very Happy

When I built my new garages, I got round this problem, a door into the utility room, and electric roller doors. My work has an underground car park so I can get to and from work totally in the dry!

The next idiot that tells me all this rain is good for the garden will end up eating a large garden tool.

Hi

It is not good for the bees! We need some warm sunny weather for them now, now there has been some rain to make the plants give some nectar, but the bees can't get there!

My vegatables are very wet now! Some nice sunny weather please!

Cheers

Dave

Please, please, please can we have some of your rain over here!!!

Perth (West Oz) has had only a couple of decent rains in the last six months or so, and our dams are very low, which in turn means that we are in for some nasty water restrictions next summer. Even a few dozen bucketfulls would help a bit!

Well speak to my friend in Grafton, northern NSW. It's been raining so hard and they've had such bad flooding he's been off work for five weeks!

That's a bit nearer than ol' Blighty. Wink

Sorry guys but we've had some glorious weather the past few weeks in Scotland, although we did have some heavy rain this morning.

Yesterday I had to go to the Isle of Mull off the west coast and the Firth of Lorne was almost like glass.
This picture was taken on my return journey and is looking south to Colonsay Island 31 miles away
