Hello All, I am in need of a replacement window for my viking 2 berth, it is fitted with a non-opening glass in aluminium frame in an opening size: 24" tall and 15" wide, square at the top and radiused at the bottom, I would like to ask you all to do me a favour and keep your eyes open and check your spares to see if there is one out there that I can buy please, Thanks.

Usually quite easy to dismantle the frame and have new glass cut by any glass merchant.

Dont know why but this window always seems to be cracked or broken on fiberlines, i found the best method is like uncle alec says , remove the window complete, strip the frame, usually two small slotted screws in the corner of the frame , take out the broken glass, make a cardboard template, and have a new window glass cut , you may need a new window seal as the old one will have shrunk! , i have obtained these in the past from "Wolleys" classic car spares
good luck ! Smile

Thanks for all the advice it is really helpful. I have removed the rear windows to replace the rotten wood surround and have examined these and found the screws mentioned so when the rear windows are back in I will start at the front ones.
I will post some pictures of 'progress so far' soon.
Thanks again.

From looking at the pics of Fibrelines and the decription in the Capt's Hello All thread, I take it that it is the O/S front flat window.
That is going to be the one most likely to get hit by stones thrown up by other traffic.
Also, I wonder if ordinary window glass is up to the flexing in a mobile situation, the other small front window being in a separate opening frame would have more tolerance.
Is there a perspex alternative which might be more durable, I have some polycarbonate, for instance which is as clear as glass, it is quarter inch thick but does have a degree of flexibility.

The window on my Viking caravan broke I went to a plant glazing company and they cut it and shaped it no problem for me , There may be a company like that near you .
