I have a 93 London taxi.According to its makers LTI it is BMC midnight blue.The colour inside and under the bonnet etc is the same as the outside even though it seems to have been resprayed a couple of times.
My question is are (or where) there different shades of this colour?.
The paints listed as early 90's BMC midnight blue are far too green looking and the best match seem to be Vauxhall kings blue but they are a bit light.
Any thoughts?.

Apparently some of these at least were painted in a ford colour.
