Hi
1905 Drummond B 3 1/2" (I think!)
I am really not wanting to sell this, so here goes:-
It is as shown in the pics, and it is missing the chuck, as there is just a tread protruding at the moment, I put a nut on it to identify the thread which is 3/4" whit I think. I had to use a massive pair of old thread guages to find that, they had hundreds of guges in it, and the size was hard to see.
It started off as a treadle lathe, but it is now run off a motor, and the treadle was gone when I came into ownership. It has two nice oilers on the top, the original thing that made me look at it!
It is not rigged up to work at the moment, so can't show it running, however when it was dismantled it ran fine. All that can go wrong with it is the motor, and it is an old motor that seems dood, we could perhaps test the motor. everything else is mechanical, gears etc.
Anyway I was at least £150 for it, and offers over this amount are invited, I orriginally was to put it on ebay, but think I will keep it if it doesn't sell here. I need space really, but love my little lathe!

Cheers
