|
|
I am looking for a pair of trafficators - I believe SF 36 - for my 1934 Morris 10/4 pre series saloon, first registered on 2nd November 1934. I have a working pair at present but the 'monkey metal' arms are broken; the orange bakalight twisted and they are done up with cellotape, so a replacement pair or new ones would be preferable. Can anyone -(Dave?) help please? [/b] |

Hi Dumpy & Nic
I don’t have any left that have decent arms, the arms do appear on eBay as NOS sometimes, but make sure you get the right one as there are 2 different lengths for the ones with monkey metal.
The alternative is to replace with SF80's which are readily available, and replacement arms only cost £5 new, once fitted they are almost indistinguishable from SF36 arms.

Brilliant - thanks. Where would I get the trafficators you mention and the two arms.
Do you have them please?
When I have got the new SF80's and the replacement arms, what do I do with the pair of SF36's I have that need to be repaired - by somebody - and are they worth quite a bit of money as they stand? |

Hi, do you want 6 or 12v ? unfortunatly the SF36's with broken arms are not worth much as its always the arms that break on them.
Cheers Dave |
