John sent this photo over, curious as to the cars shown in it.

His thoughts so far are:

1. I have no idea what this one is. It has what appears to have a diamond
shaped emblem on the radiator cowl.

2. 1908-1912(?) Ford Model T Touring. I do not know how to tell these 4
model years apart. Can anyone help?

3. Again, a 1908-1912(?) Ford Model T Touring. Which is it?

4. 1910-1913 Brush Runabout

No1 Could be a Hudson from about 1910. Triangle badge was used by Hudson. Front axle looks somewhat correct for one too.

Nos 2 and 3 are definitely T's. Probably 1910 or 1911. I seem to remember that in 1912 the 'fore door' body was introduced. Fore door meaning that there were doors for the driver and front passenger, later the title became changed to Fordor.

No4 certainly looks like a Brush to me- incidentally they had a wooden front axle on some if not all models of about this time.

Interesting to see that the Fords both sport cylinders mounted on the running boards to hold compressed acetylene for the headlights. If memory serves, the brand of those was Prest-o-light. The ?Hudson has a gas generator in which water drips onto carbide to produce the gas. The poor Brush is devoid of any form of illumination.

Thanks for the feedback Dane (I thought you'd be interested in the Model Ts), John has sent over some more info that he's turned up on the photo:

-------------

Here is what the Model T Forum folks were able to determine so far:

1. 1911 Jackson Model 30
2. 1911 Ford Model T Touring (with E&J lighting)
3. 1911 Ford Model T Touring (with JNO Brown lighting0
4. 1910 Brush Runabout Model D

Appreciate your help!

Best regards, John
