Noel is researching an early tractor he's heard about, can anyone add any details based on this info??

"I dont know if you will be able to help me, a friend has unearthed a pattison tractor but is not like the rct light tractor i have seen on a tractor site. It has a four cylinder side valve engine it has solid rubber tyres with thick solid spoke wheels like on a Model T Ford, it has no mud guards on the front the rear wheels are replaced with iron rollers, on the radiator aluminium top the name pattison is cast in it.
It has a bench seat and a wooden pick up type back and has a badge on the side which says British Field sport society. The petrol tank is where the dash board is and it has two levers fastened to the steering wheel one is the accelerator and one is a advance retard lever I think. It has a 6 volt system and also a cranking handle.
It has a bonnet also like the Model T Ford I think but has no sides just the grille down both sides. I believe it is a sports ground tractor and wondered if you have ever seen one or if you know of anyone that could give me some information as I do not seem to be able to find anything on the net. I would have thought it was made in the 20's to 30's ?
With Regards Noel." _________________ Rick - Admin

Hi Rick
Did a google for Quote: | pattison vintage tractor | and it came up with 2 direct references
1 for a green keepers tractor for sale back in 2000 and the other for the e83w website.
unfortunately haven't found photos. _________________ Bristols should always come in pairs.
