bit morbid, or an even more useful (due to higher roofline) version of the standard van?? eg an Austin A60:

A few years back I was sorely tempted by a huge 30s Buick hearse, but er indoors threatened all manner of physical damage to me, and the Buick, if I bid on it, so I resisted the urge to bid. It went for a song too, which made it even worse Rolling Eyes Smile

Hi

Not sure on Hearses, they are real nice in some ways, in that the amount of work that goes into all of the ornate dtails, but it is a bit dull, thet you have to travel in a hearse! Hmmm, not sure on this one!

Cheers

I wonder if anyone on here remembers the green and purple flake Daimler Hearse that used to be in Warrington in the mid '70's....so horrible it still makes me sick to think of it.....

Still, I suppose it was the fashion then!

Do anyone know of an Undertaker that offers classic hearses?

I know of a motorbike sidecar hearse for bikers.

I have attended a few funerals for real classic enthusiasts, great turnout of classic cars to see them off, but the deceased had to travel in a modern hearse.

Don't know of this one, but there are several around in the hot-rod scene. Personnal not something I like. A friend rescued a Humber hearse and wanted to park it on our driveway for a few days, I told him who was the boss and the hearse never appeared. Wink
