Do you think Sarah knows what this forum is all about:
1. Always follow an authorized service center for maintenance service
Find me one for, Alvis, Austin, Morris, Riley, Wolseley, Rover, and many other makes run by owners on here.
2. Avoid AC
I'd love a Cobra or Ace or Aceca
3.Make sure that your tires are properly inflated
4.Always use a good engine oil
OK I'll go along with these two
5. Avoid accelerating on steep road
Never heard of hillclimbs
6. Drive in right gear
Warm and waterproof gear for convertibles in winter??
7.Keeping your highway speed at 55 mph can improve you gas mileage
by as much as 25%.
Not in a vintage Austin Seven it doesn't.
The grammar and spelling on her website is just as bad as that in the message!
Regadrs,
And my best regrads to you too. _________________ Brian

Number 5 makes me laugh:
'Avoid accelerating on steep road' Well how else are you supposed to get up it? Float up it? _________________ Richard Hughes |

I'd imagine by keeping a steady speed... or perhaps slowing whilst still maintaining forward motion.
you were too quick to poke fun and forgot to think that there were two other options... |
