At the weekend, I bought a 1965 Chrysler that was imported here from the US in March. Is there anyone that can help me to find out the history of this car?

Hi Uncle Joe!

Do you mean previous owners or where the car was built?

There are some sites where you can check the vin# to see where it was built.
Unless papers came with the car it's almost impossible to find the owner lineage. Most states no longer allow checking of vin# registrations.

Hi Stuchamp!

I have the title, and therefore the name and address of the last owner in the US (Boulder City, Nevada).

Someone has spent a bucketfull of money on the car, and what I would like to find out is exactly what has been done. This especially includes the engine, which looks like a 1975 440 with a whole heap of Edelbrock parts.

Is this anything you can help with?

About all you can do is try contacting the previous owner here.
Try these sites to see if they are still in that area.

post some pics if you get a chance.

Thanks for the kind words. When my Lincoln gets finished, I´ll get Rick to post a few pictures of that.

Rivet, its everything you will hate. Brash, in your face, and intimidating. So intimidating that my wife wont drive it. She says that the interior is so much like a cave, shes frightened of waking hibernating bears!

Rivet, if you think that I am joking about the size of the Lincoln, I´ll give you a few true facts, such as this. I can fit an object across the boot, that is 20cm longer than I could ALONG the Volvo estate we used to own!
