In his intro thread, StandardSteve says that he may have talked to a forum member at a car show and not known it.
Other forums have produced stickers for members to have on their car to serve as an identifier for other members, has this ever been considered for OCC?
My suggestion would be for a smallish (3"x2") inside window sticker with the forum address and a panel underneath for you to write in your forum name.
Any thoughts? _________________ Brian

I'm not sure about writing your username on there, simply because OCC doesn't have regular events/meetups like say, Retro Rides. However, I am sure some stickers that just say 'OLDCLASSICCAR - Driven by Classics' would go down well _________________ Richard Hughes |

We had some for our car park passes at work, that you had to write your reg no onto. They print some matt white in a panel that you can write on with a marker pen.
I have a contact who can print as little as one sheet of stickers that then need cutting, so it could be down to as little as 30-40 stickers.
If there is any interest in the idea, I am happy to get prices, and subject to Rick's approval, do the distribution. _________________ Brian

| Why not just make one up that members of the Forum can down load and print if you made it tax disc size you could slip it in a clear tax disc holder |

Taking it a little further, a French group I belong to made up some metal badges for radiator grills/badge bars. Quite reasonable in the end +/- UKP12.
Not saying the group go this far... just an idea!
The hardest part is getting firm numbers and getting people to part with money!! Paypal would be the way to go! _________________ Alistair

Hi
I would possibley do something like this, but think a print off, and place on the dash board or cable tie to the grill may be a good idea. I am not sure about parting with pennies! Not that I am tight you understand!
I lost the tax disc on the ford, by opening the windscreen, the fergie has no screen, and the penny, well......
Cheers

Hi
What about the banner strip at the top of the page?
Self printed on photo paper and laminated.
If it was put on a floppy disc and then printed off by your local print shop on a laser printer it wouldn't fade so badly as inkjet might.
I suppose we could pay Rick a small licence fee for the use _________________ Bristols should always come in pairs.

hehe
If this is something I try out, I'd probably first make the forum look a little more like the main site, before opting for a sticker (or print-out) design, just to tie them together a bit better.

Hi
The ford one is safely in the folder with the rest of the documents, with the garage headed paper they gave me etc. They still use this as note paper even now! How much they must have had surplus I am unsure! hehe
I never did get another disc for it though!
Cheers
